Brief description of site and current use
Podlaski Industrial Park is built where the closed down Agricultural Machinery Factory BIAFAMAR was located. Location of the PPP was chosen because of the accessibility of the land for investments, its available bearings and long-term industrial tradition. This area is especially for large and medium size investors
The most important strengths of location of this zone are low labour costs and its high productivity. The area of the Podlaski Industrial Park is surrounded by the Knyszyńska Puszcza forests, the investment land is flat, with very good geotechnical conditions. Very well prepared investment area, fully equipped with modern technical infrastructure, which thanks to its ideal location provides entrepreneurs with markets and cooperation possibilities. Development sectors in this area are metal and machinery industry, power engineering (production of ecological fuels pellets produced from straw and wood waste) food Industry, wood industry and furniture industry. Companies registered in this sector: BARTOSZ (Bujwicki-Sobiech Partnership), CYNKOMET Ltd., PROMOSTAL Ltd.
